FOR THE CORRECTIONS OVERSIGHT AND JUSTICE COMMITTEE

AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE CORRECTIONS DEPARTMENT TO PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION COSTS FOR THE PARENT CHILD VISITATION PROGRAM AT THE NEW MEXICO WOMEN'S CORRECTIONAL FACILITY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the corrections department for expenditure in fiscal year 2003 to provide transportation costs for the parent child visitation program at the New Mexico women's correctional facility. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2003 shall revert to the general fund.
