RECOGNIZING ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATION REGIONAL DIRECTOR PEDRO GARZA AND HIS STAFF FOR THEIR ASSISTANCE TO NEW MEXICO.

WHEREAS, the New Mexico legislature values its partnership with the economic development administration; and

WHEREAS, every part of New Mexico has benefited from economic development administration investment over the more than thirty years of this partnership; and

WHEREAS, the economic development administration has provided consistency in economic development planning and excellence in training and technical assistance and has invested millions of dollars in infrastructure and small business loans; and

WHEREAS, the Austin regional office under the direction of Pedro Garza has worked to focus resources on communities in need and to streamline the necessary government processes, improving the efficiency with which projects are implemented;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO that recognition and gratitude be expressed to economic development administration regional director Pedro Garza and his staff for their assistance to New Mexico.
