AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO COMPLETE SURVEYS, ASSESSMENTS AND CLEARANCES TO BEGIN CONSTRUCTION OF THE HOGBACK BRIDGE IN SAN JUAN COUNTY.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three million dollars ($3,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the state highway and transportation department for expenditure in fiscal year 2003 to complete environmental assessments, archaeological clearances and other surveys required to begin construction of a bridge between the San Juan and Hogback Navajo chapters in San Juan county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2003 shall revert to the general fund.
