AN ACT

RELATING TO THE REDISTRICTING OF THE SENATE; ESTABLISHING SENATORIAL DISTRICT FIVE; REPEALING AND ENACTING SECTIONS OF THE NMSA 1978.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. Section 2-8C-11 NMSA 1978 (being Laws 1991 (1st S.S.), Chapter 3, Section 11) is repealed and a new Section 2-8C-11 NMSA 1978 is enacted to read:

"2-8C-11. [NEW MATERIAL] SENATE DISTRICT FIVE.--Senate district five is composed of Rio Arriba county precincts 1 through 20, 22, 23, 26, 27 and 30 through 41; and Santa Fe county precincts 5, 6, 23, 40 and 59 through 61."
