AMENDING HOUSE RULE 11-9 TO PROVIDE FOR AN AUTOMATIC ENDORSEMENT BY INTERIM COMMITTEE MEMBERS OF INTERIM COMMITTEE BILLS.

WHEREAS, the house of representatives may amend its rules by a majority vote of the members present upon the recommendation of the rules and order of business committee;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO that House Rule 11-9 be amended to read:

"11-9 Every bill, resolution and memorial shall be introduced by a member in his place or by a committee, including an interim committee, or message from the senate. Every bill, resolution and memorial introduced by an interim committee may, at the direction of the member introducing it, have printed upon its face by the legislative council service the names of other members who were members of the interim committee and who have given their permission to the member introducing the bill, resolution or memorial to have their names printed on it.".
