SENATE FLOOR AMENDMENT number ___1___ to SENATE MEMORIAL 36

1. On page 1, line 24, strike "is" and insert "may be".

2. On page 2, line 2, after "the" strike the remainder of the line, strike line 3 in its entirety, strike line 4 through "counties" and insert in lieu thereof "university hospital and the Hospital Funding Act provide Bernalillo county".

3. On page 2, line 4, strike "pay", strike lines 5 and 6 in their entirety and insert in lieu thereof "provide for the general operations and support of university hospital; and".

4. On page 3, line 9, strike "and yet", strike line 10 in its entirety and strike line 11 through "dollars".

5. On page 3, line 13, after the second occurrence of "the" strike the remainder of the line, strike line 14 through "by" and insert in lieu thereof "university of New Mexico financial assistance program of".

6. On page 3, line 21, after "eligible" strike the remainder of the line, strike line 22 in its entirety and insert in lieu thereof "for the university of New Mexico financial assistance program are treated on the same basis".

7. On page 3, line 23, after "people" strike the remainder of the line and strike line 24 through "money".
