SM 27 requests the Board of Regents of the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology to rename the John M. Kelly petroleum building the John M. and Ester Kelly Petroleum Building.
Significant Issues
John M. Kelly's wife, Ester was also a strong and generous supporter of the Petroleum Recovery Research Center.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
There will be a minimal cost to change the signs on the building if the name is changed.
