Synopsis of Bill
Senate Joint Memorial 58 requests the Chief Information Officer, the State Librarian and Secretary of Public Safety to work with the Navajo Nation and other tribes to see what the state can do to help extend information technology to Indian Country.
Significant Issues
SJM 58 does not include the Information Systems Division (ISD) of the General Services Department. ISD provides voice and data communications and information systems services.
