FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
SB 705 appropriates $500.0 in general funds to the Human Services Department for expenditure in FY 02 to provide child support enforcement services for the Navajo Nation. The expense is recurring and any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2002 reverts to the general fund.
ADMINISTRATIVE IMPLICATIONS
The Human Services Department's Joint Powers Agreement (JPA) with the Navajo Nation would continue.
RELATIONSHIP
Relates to HB 2 which contains $250.0 in general fund to provide child support enforcement services for the Navajo Nation.
