Senate Bill 474 appropriates $1.2 million from the general fund to the State Agency on Aging's six area agencies on aging for the purpose of defraying the heating and fuel costs of senior citizens.

FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
The appropriation of $1.2 million contained in this bill is a recurring expense to the general fund. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of FY02 shall revert to the general fund.
