SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
SB 258 appropriates $105.0 from the general fund to the Office of the State Engineer for the purpose of removing sediment and renovating the Tularosa community ditch association reservoir.
Significant Issues
According to the State Engineer, the work needs to be done. However, due to possible weather delays the appropriation should not revert back to the general fund until fiscal year 2004.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
The appropriation of $105.0 contained in this bill is a non-recurring expense to the general fund. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2002 shall revert to the general fund.
