Synopsis of Bill



SB217 appropriates $150,000 from the general fund to Western New Mexico University for expenditure in FY01 and 02 to fund gender equity athletic needs at Western New Mexico University. The bill contains an emergency clause.



FISCAL IMPLICATIONS



The appropriation of $150.0 contained in this bill is a recurring expense to the general fund. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of FY02 shall revert to the general fund.
