SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
SB 84 eliminates the five year waiting period that workers' compensation ombudsmen must wait before being employed by the Workers' Compensation Administration.
Significant Issues
There might be the appearance of a conflict of interest if the ombudsmen who represent clients go to work for the adjudicating agency without a waiting period.
