SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
HJM 25 request that the New Mexico Congressional Delegation, the Department of Interior, the Bureau of Reclamation and the Bureau of Indian Affairs provide funding to help resolve the Rio Jemez Drainage Basin Adjudication.
Significant Issues
A study is supported by all parties involved: the Pueblos, Jemez Water Users Association, the federal government and the Office of the State Engineer.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
HJM 25 contains no appropriation. However, the possibility exists that the desired funding from the Federal Government may require matching funds in the future from the State.
