SUMMARY

Synopsis of Bill

House Joint Memorial 16 resolves DOH, CYFD and SDE:

•collaborate in developing appropriate training and materials to assist licensed daycare providers in providing early literacy and reading readiness skills in the child daycare environment;
•report to the LESC and LFC about funding requirements necessary to train and prepare materials for licensed daycare providers in the providing of literacy-rich environments to the children in their care; and
•copies of the memorial be transmitted to the above-listed entities.
