SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
House Bill 728 appropriates $275.0 from the general fund to DOH to provide comprehensive community-based cancer patient support services for cancer patients with any type of cancer, including education, patient library services, one-to-one matching with cancer veterans, survivorship support groups and an annual statewide survivorship conference.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
The appropriation of $275.0 contained in this bill is a recurring expense to the general fund. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of FY02 shall revert to the general fund.
