SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
House Bill 461 appropriates $37.0 from the general fund to the Department of Health (DOH) for a parenting skill building program in Albuquerque developed for Spanish-speaking and Latino-origin parents. The program shall be respectful of the unique traditions and customs of Latino families, and sensitive to the variety of adjustments that are made as Latino families acculturate to life in the United States.
Significant Issues
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
The appropriation of 37.0 contained in this bill is a recurring expense to the general fund. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of FY02 shall revert to the general fund.
