SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
This bill makes an appropriation of $105.0 from the general fund to the Taos Valley Acequia Association and the Rio Chama Acequia Association for the purpose of developing regional acequia geographic information systems.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
The appropriation of $105.0 contained in this bill is a non-recurring expense to the general fund. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of FY02 shall revert to the general fund. The funds are distributed equally to the Taos Valley Acequia Association and the Rio Chama Acequia Association.
ADMINISTRATIVE IMPLICATIONS
No more than 5% of the appropriation may be used by the Office of the State Engineer for administrative costs.
