Synopsis of Bill



House Bill 222 amends the Arroyo Flood Control Act to provide for the election of directors from single-member districts during each general election. The bill also provides that the board shall ensure that the districts remain contiguous, compact and equal in population as is practicable, and incumbent board members whose residences are redistricted out of their districts may serve out their term of office.
