SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
House Bill 207 appropriates $300.0 to New Mexico State University (NMSU) to support collaboration among New Mexico, the United States, Mexico and Spain on artistic initiatives and to support the touring exhibition of El Favor de Los Santos (the NMSU retablo collection) and conservation and cataloging of this collection.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
The appropriation of $300.0 contained in this bill is a recurring expense to the general fund. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of FY02 shall revert to the general fund.
OTHER SUBSTANTIVE ISSUES
This project was not recommended for funding by the NMSU Board of Regents or the Commission on Higher Education.
