FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS AT ZUNI PUBLIC SCHOOLS, GALLUP-MCKINLEY COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS AND GRANTS-CIBOLA COUNTY SCHOOLS, ALL WITHIN THE PURVIEW OF PL 874.

I request that the following capital outlay project be funded:

to the state department of public education

forty million dollars ($40,000,000) for capital improvements in the Zuni and Gallup-McKinley public school districts in McKinley county and the Grants-Cibola county school district in Cibola county, all schools within the purview of PL 874, and all part of the public school capital outlay lawsuit filed in 1998 against the state of New Mexico and the superintendent of public instruction.
