REQUESTED BY

FOR ENHANCING THE CAPABILITY OF DIGITAL TRANSMITTERS AT EDUCATIONAL TELEVISION STATIONS AT EASTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY, NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY AND THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO.

I request that the following capital outlay project be funded:

to the educational television equipment replacement fund

two million three hundred thousand dollars ($2,300,000) to equip digital transmitters with the capability to perform local origination of multiple channel broadcasting and broadcast data services at the educational television stations at eastern New Mexico university in Portales, New Mexico state university in Las Cruces and the university of New Mexico in Albuquerque.
