45TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 2001

REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN THE WEST LAS VEGAS PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT IN

SAN MIGUEL COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the state department of public education

one hundred ninety thousand dollars ($190,000) to purchase and install an exterior elevator at the school adminstration building in the west Las Vegas public school district in San Miguel county;

nine hundred forty thousand six hundred dollars ($940,600) to plan, design and construct classroom additions to the Don Cecilio Martinez elementary school in the west Las Vegas public school district in San Miguel county;

five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) to plan, design, construct, equip and furnish a gymnasium for Valley elementary and middle schools in the west Las Vegas public school district in San Miguel county; and

one hundred seventy-four thousand eight hundred fifty dollars ($174,850) to purchase buses for the head start program in the west Las Vegas public school district in San Miguel county.
