SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 355

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

45TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 2001

REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN LEA COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the state agency on aging

sixty thousand dollars ($60,000) to construct an addition to the senior recreation center in Lovington in Lea county;

to the department of environment

three hundred fifty-three thousand dollars ($353,000) for water storage and line replacement improvements to the water system in Tatum in Lea county;

to the state highway and transportation department

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) for street improvements in Tatum in Lea county; and

to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) to purchase and install a warning siren system for Tatum in Lea county; and

sixty thousand dollars ($60,000) to purchase and equip an ambulance in Tatum in Lea county.
