STATE OF NEW MEXICO

45TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 2001

REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN SENATE DISTRICT 35 IN HIDALGO COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

one million dollars ($1,000,000) to construct, equip and furnish the Hidalgo county health center in Hidalgo county;

one hundred seventy-five thousand dollars ($175,000) for fire trucks and firefighting equipment for Lordsburg in Hidalgo county;

one hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($125,000) to purchase police cars for Lordsburg in Hidalgo county;

sixty thousand dollars ($60,000) for repairs to the Animas-Hidalgo county community center in Animas in Hidalgo county; and

twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) for roof and other repairs at the Lordsburg museum in Lordsburg in Hidalgo county;

to the state department of public education

one hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($125,000) for roofing improvements at the Lordsburg municipal school district in Hidalgo county.
