REQUESTED BY

FOR A REAUTHORIZATION TO CHANGE THE PURPOSE OF A SEVERANCE TAX BOND

APPROPRIATION TO PURCHASE OR REPAIR WATER TANKS IN GRANTS IN CIBOLA

COUNTY.

The proceeds from the sale of severance tax bonds appropriated to the office of the state

engineer pursuant to Subsection B of Section 9 of Chapter 2 of Laws 1999 (1st S.S.) to acquire

four hundred acre-feet of water rights for Grants in Cibola county shall not be expended for the

original purpose but are reauthorized and appropriated to the department of environment to

purchase or repair water tanks in Grants in Cibola county.
