SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 289

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

45TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 2001

REQUESTED BY

FOR SENATE DISTRICT 39 CAPITAL PROJECTS IN SANTA FE COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to renovate the community center at Chupadero-Rio en Medio in Santa Fe county; and

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to renovate the community center in Cerrillos in Santa Fe county; and

to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs

five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) for phase 3 construction of the wellness and recreation center at the pueblo of Pojoaque in Santa Fe county;

six hundred thousand dollars ($600,000) to continue construction of the Poeh museum at the pueblo of Pojoaque in Santa Fe county; and

three hundred ninety-six thousand dollars ($396,000) to prepare the site for, plan, design and construct a classroom studio for the Poeh arts program at the pueblo of Pojoaque in Santa Fe county.
