SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 237

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

45TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 2001

REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS FOR SANDOVAL COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the state highway and transportation department

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to pave Vista de la Montana in the Placitas area of Sandoval county;

two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) for paving Southern and Northern boulevards west from Rio Rancho to the developing northwest corridor in Sandoval county;

one hundred seventy-five thousand dollars ($175,000) for paving and drainage improvements on Sile road between the pueblo of Santo Domingo and Sile in Sandoval county; and

two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) to continue developing Pipeline road in Sandoval county;

to the interstate stream commission

one million five hundred thousand dollars ($1,500,000) for regional water planning statewide; and

to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

one million one hundred thousand dollars ($1,100,000) to make improvements at the New Mexico soccer tournament complex, including bathrooms, paving, lighting and a potable water system, in Sandoval county;

one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) to renovate the district court complex to meet the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 in Sandoval county; and

three million one hundred thousand dollars ($3,100,000) to design and construct a facility to house health and community services agencies in Sandoval county.
