45TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 2001

REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN ALAMOGORDO IN OTERO COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the state highway and transportation department

four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) for south Florida avenue resurfacing from First street to Panorama boulevard in Alamogordo in Otero county;

one hundred thirty thousand dollars ($130,000) to install a three-way traffic signal at the intersection of First street and Cuba avenue in Alamogordo in Otero county; and

one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) to continue the scenic drive from the rail crossing westward to connect to United States highway 54; and

to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

two hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($225,000) to purchase and install three public restrooms in various parks in Alamogordo in Otero county; and

one hundred seventy-five thousand dollars ($175,000) to purchase and install lights at the old baseball field at the Hooser complex in Alamogordo in Otero county.
