SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 116

REQUESTED BY
FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN TAOS COUNTY.
I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:
to the department of environment
eighty-two thousand dollars ($82,000) to design and construct a water well and storage tank and to make other related improvements to the East Cerro mutual domestic water consumers association water system in Taos county;
three hundred eighty thousand dollars ($380,000) for a regional wastewater master plan for the Jicarita Valley in Taos county;
four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) to plan, design, engineer and construct sewer system improvements and extensions in the El Prado water and sanitation district in Taos county;
thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) for improvements to water and sewer systems for the El Salto mutual domestic water consumers association in Taos county;
one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to construct a storage tank and water line for the El Rito mutual domestic water consumers association in Taos county; and
one hundred fifty-four thousand ($154,000) to purchase and install water meters for the Talpa mutual domestic water consumers association in Taos county;
to the local government division of the department of finance and administration
one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) to engineer and construct, including drilling a well and purchasing and installing a storage tank, for the La Lama fire department and community center in Taos county; and
to the state department of public education
one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) for capital improvements, including meeting requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, in the Mesa Vista consolidated school district in Taos county.
