HOUSE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 1051

45TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 2001

REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN LA CIENEGA IN SANTA FE COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the department of environment

one hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($125,000) for the extension of water lines for commercial and residential areas of La Cienega and La Cieneguilla communities in Santa Fe county;

to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) to plan, design and construct a multipurpose community facility, including the purchase of land, in La Cienega in Santa Fe county; and

to the office of the state engineer

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to upgrade the acequia de La Cienega, including the existing pond, embankments, head works, concrete ditch lining, pond sealing and pipeline extension of the system, to ensure its use for irrigation and prevent erosion in the acequia de La Cienega in Santa Fe county.
