45TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 2001

REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS FOR SCHOOLS IN HOUSE DISTRICT 50.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the state department of public education

one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) for educational technology at Manzano high school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

seven hundred thousand dollars ($700,000) to plan, design and construct a new gymnasium at Moriarty high school in the Moriarty municipal school district in Torrance county;

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for educational technology in the Estancia municipal school district in Torrance county;

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for educational technology in the Mountainair public school district in Torrance county;

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for educational technology at Turquoise Trail elementary school in the Santa Fe public school district in Santa Fe county;

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for educational technology at Agua Fria elementary school in the Santa Fe public school district in Santa Fe county;

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for playground equipment, renovating the gymnasium and purchasing library and music equipment at A. Montoya elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county; and

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for educational technology, storage sheds and gymnasium locker rooms at Roosevelt middle school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county.
