HOUSE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 932

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

45TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 2001

REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS IN VALENCIA COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the department of environment

one million dollars ($1,000,000) for land acquisition, engineering and construction of the closure of the landfill in Valencia county;

to the state highway and transportation department

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to construct road drainage improvements to county roads in Valencia county;

to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for parking lot improvements to various fire departments in Valencia county; and

to the historic preservation division of the office of cultural affairs

sixty-two thousand five hundred dollars ($62,500) to restore the roof and make related improvements to the historic Jarales school building in Valencia county.
