45TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 2001

REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES IN SIERRA COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the state agency on aging

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to design the expansion of the senior center meal site in Truth or Consequences in Sierra county;

to the department of environment

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) for sewer system upgrades and regional wastewater treatment plant planning in Truth or Consequences in Sierra county; and

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for water line replacement in Truth or Consequences in Sierra county;

to the state highway and transportation department

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for drainage and street improvements in Truth or Consequences in Sierra county; and

to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) for a scraper and rear-loader sanitation vehicles in Truth or Consequences in Sierra county;

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) for an electric bucket truck in Truth or Consequences in Sierra county;

two hundred forty thousand dollars ($240,000) for a police vehicle in Truth or Consequences in Sierra county;

two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) to replace the airport terminal in Truth or Consequences in Sierra county; and

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for electrical service upgrades in Truth or Consequences in Sierra county.
