STATE OF NEW MEXICO

45TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 2001

REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN TEXICO IN CURRY COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to purchase and equip a pumper tanker for the volunteer fire department in Texico in Curry county; and

one hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($125,000) to construct, equip and furnish a new city hall facility, including compliance with uniform building codes and the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, in Texico in Curry county; and

to the state department of public education

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to renovate locker rooms to meet the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and to develop a learning center in the Texico municipal school district in Curry county.
