45TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 2001

REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN SPRINGER IN COLFAX COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the department of environment

two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) to complete construction of a new water treatment plant in Springer in Colfax county; and

to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

one hundred forty thousand dollars ($140,000) to install a new roof at the city hall complex in Springer in Colfax county;

twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) for playground equipment at Springer park in Springer in Colfax county;

forty thousand dollars ($40,000) for constructing an addition to and furnishings for the children's room at the public library in Springer in Colfax county; and

one million two hundred thousand dollars ($1,200,000) for phase 1 construction and renovation of the Springer northeastern regional multipurpose recreational facility in Springer in Colfax county.
