HOUSE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 151

45TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 2001

REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN HOBBS IN LEA COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the department of environment

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) for a water well near the Del Norte pump station and a booster pump system at the Harden overhead tower in Hobbs in Lea county;

to the state highway and transportation department

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to purchase slurry seal materials and to seal city streets in Hobbs in Lea county; and

to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

one million dollars ($1,000,000) to improve an eighty-acre park and to plan, design and construct a family aquatic center in Hobbs in Lea county.
