AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH EDUCATION EFFORTS.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Twenty five thousand dollars ($25,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2002 to provide public education on multiple chemical sensitivity, indoor air quality and healthy buildings. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2002 shall revert to the general fund.
