AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE NEW MEXICO OFFICE OF INDIAN AFFAIRS FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE COUNSELING IN THE COMMUNITIES OF CROWNPOINT AND SHIPROCK.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred five thousand five hundred dollars ($105,500) is appropriated from the general fund to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs for expenditure in fiscal year 2002 to contract for domestic violence counseling in the communities of Crownpoint and Shiprock. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2002 shall revert to the general fund.
