AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO COVER COSTS RELATED TO TRAVEL FOR THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO-SPAIN ACADEMIC EXCHANGE PROGRAM.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2002 to cover costs related to travel for the university of New Mexico-Spain academic exchange program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2002 shall revert to the general fund.
