AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A NEW SPORTS MEDICINE AND ACADEMIC SUPPORT BUILDING AT NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One million seven hundred thousand dollars ($1,700,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal years 2002 and 2003 for planning, designing, constructing and equipping a new sports medicine and academic support building at New Mexico state university in Las Cruces. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2003 shall revert to the general fund.
