Mr. President:

Your PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 1, line 13, after "DEFINITIONS" insert "; MAKING AN APPROPRIATION".

2. On page 14, between lines 17 and 18, insert:

"Section 15. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the regulation and licensing department for expenditure in fiscal year 2002 for the purpose of administering the Long-Term Care Administrators Act. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2002 shall revert to the general fund.".

3. Renumber the succeeding sections accordingly.,

and thence referred to the FINANCE COMMITTEE.
