Your JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE

SUBSTITUTE FOR SENATE BILL 400

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On pages 2 and 3, strike Subsection D in its entirety.

2. On page 2, line 17 insert the following:

"D. Aggravated assault upon a sports official consists of unlawfully assaulting or striking at a sports official with a deadly weapon while he is in the lawful discharge of his duties.".

3. On page 3, lines 7 through 13, strike Subsections F and G.

4. Reletter the succeeding subsections accordingly.
