Your EDUCATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 1, line 19, strike "two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500)" and insert in lieu thereof "three thousand five hundred dollars ($3,500)".

2. On page 2, lines 1 and 2, strike "Forty-eight million one hundred thirty thousand dollars ($48,130,000)" and insert in lieu thereof "Seventy million dollars ($70,000,000)".

3. On page 2, line 7, strike "two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500)" and insert in lieu thereof "three thousand five hundred dollars ($3,500)".

4. On page 2, line 7, after the word "of" insert "all benefits".

5. On page 2, strike lines 8, 9 and 10 through the word "Act",

and thence referred to the FINANCE COMMITTEE.
