AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO IMPROVE THE CUMBRES AND TOLTEC SCENIC RAILROAD.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Four hundred forty-two thousand dollars ($442,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the Cumbres and Toltec scenic railroad commission for expenditure in fiscal year 2002 to improve the Cumbres and Toltec scenic railroad. The appropriation is contingent upon an equal contribution from the state of Colorado. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2002 shall revert to the general fund.
