MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE VICTIM ADVOCATE PROGRAM IN THE NINTH JUDICIAL DISTRICT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Thirty-five thousand dollars ($35,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the ninth judicial district for expenditure in fiscal year 2002 for the victim advocate program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2002 shall revert to the general fund.

Section 2. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred six thousand four hundred sixty-four dollars ($106,464) is appropriated from the general fund to the ninth judicial district for expenditure in fiscal year 2002 for the victim advocate program for employee salary parity. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2002 shall revert to the general fund.
