Mr. President:

Your PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILLS 124, 274 & 413, as amended

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 1, line 16, strike "SUPERVISION" and insert in lieu thereof "A CLASSIFICATION REVIEW".

2. On page 1, line 18, strike "FEES" and insert in lieu thereof "A FEE".

3. On page 5, line 4, after "B." strike the remainder of the line, strike all of lines 5 and 6 and strike line 7 through the period.

4. On page 5, line 11, after the period insert "The secretary shall prepare and submit to the county a written report summarizing his review of each contract.".

5. On page 6, line 14, after "secretary" strike the remainder of the line and strike all of lines 15 and 16 and insert in lieu thereof "shall notify the county of the deficiencies and recommend corrective action.".

6. On page 6, lines 17 and 18, strike "SECRETARY'S AUTHORITY TO SUPERVISE THE INCARCERATION" and insert in lieu thereof "CLASSIFICATION REVIEW".

7. On page 6, line 19, strike "FEES" and insert in lieu thereof "A FEE".

8. On page 6, line 21, strike the colon and on line 22 strike "(1)".

9. On page 6, line 24, strike the semicolon and insert in lieu thereof a period.

10. On page 6, strike line 25 and on page 7, strike lines 1 through 3.

11. On page 7, line 9, after "be" insert "a minimum of".

12. On page 7, strike lines 12 through 17.,

and thence referred to the JUDICIARY COMMITTEE.
