AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS MARKETING BY THE NEW MEXICO DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2002 to support the agricultural products marketing and consumer awareness campaign of the New Mexico department of agriculture to increase sales of New Mexico-grown food. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2002 shall revert to the general fund.
