MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE CRIMINAL AND JUVENILE JUSTICE COORDINATING COUNCIL TO PAY FOR THE SALARIES AND BENEFITS OF STAFF AND THE COSTS OF OPERATING THE COUNCIL.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred seventy-five thousand dollars ($375,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the criminal and juvenile justice coordinating council for expenditure in fiscal year 2002 for salaries and benefits of staff and the costs of operating the council. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2002 shall revert to the general fund.
