MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE NEW MEXICO OFFICE OF INDIAN AFFAIRS FOR ANIMAL CONTROL IN THE COMMUNITY OF SHIPROCK.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Ten thousand dollars ($10,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs for expenditure in fiscal year 2002 to contract for animal control in the community of Shiprock. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2002 shall revert to the general

fund.
